About Us

Bushbalm is The Bikini Line Skincare Experts, on a mission to be the go-to solution for ingrown hairs, dark spots, and razor bumps — everywhere on the body. We create effective, results-driven products that help people feel confident in their skin, from the bikini line to underarms and beyond.
Born in Ottawa, ON, we’ve grown from a bold idea to one of the city’s most exciting startups — securing a deal on Dragons’ Den and ranking among Ottawa’s fastest-growing companies. With a powerhouse eCommerce presence, a rapidly expanding retail footprint, and a strong network of waxing professionals, we’re disrupting the skincare industry in a big way.
At Bushbalm, you’ll join a fast-moving, passionate team where innovation, collaboration, and career growth go hand in hand. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to meet you!

Why Join Bushbalm?

  • Be part of a rapidly growing and innovative skincare brand making waves in the beauty industry.
  • Work in a collaborative and fun environment that values creativity and fresh ideas.
  • Gain strong opportunities for career growth and professional development.
  • Help expand a brand that is available in Ulta Beauty locations nationwide and 25,000+ waxing salons.

About the Role

The Supply Chain Manager owns planning and inventory at Bushbalm, the function that decides what we buy, when we buy it, and how much inventory sits across our network. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is accountable for keeping us in stock across every channel while protecting working capital, and for running the supply side of our monthly S&OP cycle.
You will lead a small planning team and partner closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and our contract manufacturers. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-scaling business: you own the planning system and the numbers, and you are close enough to the detail to catch a problem before it becomes a stockout.
We sell across four channels , DTC, Amazon, national retail (Ulta and others), and a professional channel serving 25,000+ waxing salons, each with its own demand pattern and replenishment rhythm. You will own the plan across all of them.

This role is a 12-month contract, currently vacant. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000.

In this Role you Will

Planning and Replenishment

  • Own the purchase and replenishment plan, translate the demand forecast into what needs to be bought and made, and when, across finished goods and components.
  • Manage replenishment triggering, own reorder points and the signals that drive purchasing, so we stay in stock without overbuying.
  • Own safety stock and reorder-point policy, set the parameters that balance service level against working capital, and adjust them as lead times and demand shift.
  • Manage component and finished-goods inventory, own inventory levels, reorder timing, and the health of stock across the network.
Manufacturing and Supply

  • Own production scheduling with our co-manufacturers, plan and sequence production runs, and hold the schedule with our contract manufacturers.
  • Own co-manufacturer capacity planning, forecast capacity needs and work with partners to ensure they can meet our plan as we scale.
  • Track end-to-end lead times, maintain visibility on supplier, production, and freight lead times, and factor them into the plan.
  • Own PO execution, ensure purchase orders are cut accurately and on cadence against the plan.
S&OP and Cross-Functional

  • Run the supply review, own the supply side of the monthly S&OP cycle: assess feasibility against the demand plan and surface risks and constraints.
  • Partner with Procurement, hand the sourcing requirement to Procurement cleanly — you own what and when, they own from whom and at what price.
  • Partner with Finance, support inventory valuation and reconciliation, and align the plan against financial targets.
Systems, Reporting and Improvement

  • Own inventory reporting, maintain accurate, timely reporting on inventory position and health for leadership.
  • Maintain BOM accuracy, own bill-of-materials versioning and accuracy in the ERP as products and packaging change.
  • Improve the planning system, strengthen planning process, data quality, and tooling as the business scales.
  • Support quality disposition, partner on non-conforming material decisions and finished-goods release.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of supply chain, demand/supply planning, or inventory planning experience in consumer products or CPG, including time in a lead or manager capacity.
  • Hands-on planning ownership, you have owned a replenishment plan, safety-stock policy, and PO execution, not just supported them.
  • Contract-manufacturer experience, planning production and capacity with co-mans or third-party manufacturers.
  • Multi-channel inventory experience, managing stock across more than one route to market (DTC, Amazon, retail, or wholesale).
  • Advanced Excel, complex modelling, large-data analysis, scenario planning, pivot tables, and comfort building and maintaining planning tools.
  • Strong ERP fluency, you have run planning inside an ERP and understand how BOMs, inventory, and purchasing connect. CIN7 experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership, you will run S&OP conversations and align Procurement, Finance, Operations, and suppliers around one plan.
Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in beauty, personal care, or another fast-moving consumer category.
  • Experience in a formal S&OP or IBP cadence.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a planning analyst or coordinator.

Perks and Benefits

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible work environment (hybrid options where applicable).
  • Health and wellness benefits, including a lifestyle spending account.
  • Professional development opportunities to support career growth.
  • Free access to our award-winning products.
